SAY BYE...Darned thing didn't last long at all ...I kept trying to get it to work but when there was some "stuff" in it yesterday monring, and it was cold when I got up (coffee maker sin, in my life) I just went and  bought a plain Mr Coffee  Nuttin fancy but it works!!!

Hey, if you want to shop, come on down!!  This weekend is "tax-free" weekend here in K-town.  Makes me wish I had waited to get the new coffeemaker today instead of yesterday.  and I may look for a clothes dryer this weekend.  might be a good time for a deal..

Still such a bore, that's me.  My daughter and her kids are coming in this weekend and I can NOT wait to see them again.
OMG...Just turned TV on and Mike Greenberg (ESPN2) is actually going to milk a cow today on his show....on live tv.  he's dressed up as a farmer and looks like an idiot.  I do not think he has ever been near a cow......ever....
Sammy Sosa hit home run 600 last night....Against the Cubbies.  (Oh yeah, Cubs lost) Sammy is only the 6th person to have hit 600 home runs.  Hall of Fame? What do you think?  I really don't care.  He left the Cubs and he was no longer in my favor but....he did hit the damn things and so, unless they don't put Barry or McGuire in....no Sammy.  Oh yeah,he looks awful now.  Getting off whatever he was taking took a lot from him....

I don't really have anything.  I took care of some "business" stuff last night and went to bed...Now I'm awake and its still boring.  Summertime is a hard time to blog interesting stuff.  No one is around and if they are they're ticked off because they're not on vacation.   
So...I'm just going to take my boring self to work.  My daughter has a Dr's appt this afternoon...wish her the best please.......
Mercifully its supposed to rain today...we sure need it here and badly....

Wednesday

I have nothing here.  Just BB from last night and I'm thinking James may have put himself in some kind of a mess.  I don't really care but if the power shifts to the "others" instead of "6" they're all gone.   Then I'll lose interest.  There just isn't anyone not from episode six that I like...Not a one.  How about George?  He's one heck of a somebody isn't he?  Now he has to eat slop every single day.  I mean, that can't even be a good thing to do.  What about Jase?  How much trouble is it for James if they send Will home, not Jase.  Paybacks are hell aren't they.   Does Will want to go home or does he just want attention?

T.G.I.T.

I really don't know why, but I'm about to drop.. Makes me wish I had taken July 3rd as a personal day so I'd have a four day weekend.  Oh well, such is life. 
I really don't have anything exciting. I come home, watch a little TV and go to be.  How incredibly boring am I?  We're supposedly having a cook out Friday at work.  So last night I made some "Texas Caviar" to take. I guess that counts as "doing something".  Then went to bed.  My dinner was munching on red peppers, yellow peppers and the finished product.   Pretty good too........
I did watch "Countdown" on MSNBC last night.  I love Keith Oberman and boy did he have a take on "Star Jones/Baba Wawa (how many remember Baba Wawa) feud.  As a matter of fact everyone did.  Star is supposed to be on Larry King tonight and I'm thinking I'll have to watch that..I'm afraid Star is going to find out battling with Baba is a very bad idea.  She's (BW) has been around forever and has a whole lot of connections so tonight may be the last time we see her.  She's supposedly been looking for a job forever and has no takers so.....what does that tell you.  I do have one question...where is all of Star's skin?  Did they get rid of that when she got her boob job? I'm just curious...
Don't forget "Windfall" is on tonight.  I for one, have to tape it and watch another night.  Ten pm is just to late...
Ok.  I've been a nasty witch this morning so I'm going to work to share the joy of this mood with everyone.  We're going to be shorthanded today and tomorrow. OH JOY!!!

Just Tuesday

Good god I wanted to smash that alarm clock into oblivion this morning. I was sleeping like I was dead.  I was up a bit later than usual last night and felt it this morning.   Take my word for it.  I'll be in bed early tonight...
Did you watch Treasure Hunters?  I taped Hells Kitchen and watched Treasure Hunters and I'm picking favorites now.  Or, maybe I'm picking the ones I totally dislike..How about the Fogels?  Didn't like them last week and they did nothing to endear me to them this week.  Those people are awful and then say a little prayer to make them feel better about it. What's that about.. ?  I love the phrase "I've been Fogeled" (sp)  Do you think they'll be proud of themselves when they watch this? I hated that the team that went home had to.  I did like them but kinda knew they had no chance.  Since the Fogels couldn't go I was hoping those goofs the Hanlon's would go home.  I am not believing they left, ate and came back and still made it. I don't much like them at all but that may get better. 
I was so glad the Grads made it.  For some reason I was pulling for them to do well, especially after the accident.  We'll see how long they can be competitive.  Did you watch the previews of next week?  The group that went  home last night were in the previews.. Don't understand that one.. I'm really liking the the Air Force team.  They're going to be hard to beat...
Ok..In other words, I think that will be a good summer show.  Especially before NBC starts messing with it which will make it worse...  The scenery last night was fantastic..I enjoyed that as much as I enjoyed the show....Yep...it's going to be a good one..
Oh yeah, I watched episode three of Windfall on Sunday.  .  I don't like the "shady character" story line at all but it seemed a little better.  I don't know that I'll stay glued to it but............it is summer and there isn't much competition...
Happy Tuesday everyone...have a good one.  They're almost doing a rain dance on TV so we'll get some.  I know the people in the Northeast don't want to hear that but there's a water shortage according to the morning news.....mmmm

Mornin' everyone.  Just to make sure I don't let anyone down I have absolutely nothing to tell you.  My life is so darned boring.
I did see where my SIL installed a loverly door on their new house and it looks fantastic.  He's getting so talented, I may have to borrow him when I get my house/condo..
I do have to say, I'm sure glad that I didn't buy a pair of Clogs the other day.  In two days I've come across two blogs wanting to ban then.  I'm dorky enought without adding clogs...I guess.  I'll tell you this though, if I do get a place with a yard I'll own a pair to work in the garden.....I'll just not wear them out in public..
Larry Brown is the richest dope I've ever known of.   The only one I know of who gets fired and they still owe him 40 million dollars. 
Bless everyone and anyone who has a loved one in the service. That's all I know to say..I wish we'd get out of there.....

STILL NOTHIN'

Not much folks.  I'm back on the "dull" bandwagon.............Did you watch Apprentice last night?  The Donald went on a firing blitz and canned two of them.  I think they both deserved it.  Imagine trying to open a beauty salon and no one is coming in so you get your hair done?  How totally incompetent is she?  Said she needed to test the treatment and see how it was.  Probably not a bad idea, but maybe should have done that before opening day and actually been outside trying to get customers..  Idiot...
I watched "wife swap" last night.  Where do they get these people?  Last night they had Hitler switch with Tinkerbell.  What a hoot.  The one that was the rodeo chick (Hitler) was just a dreadfully mean Mom. She said it makes her kids great kids but if a kid starts crying or whining.....She asks them if they need an ambulance or anything else dreadful and if not ...Stop whining.  Whining is banned.  Now I'm not saying whining should be running rampant but......Kids whine. Sometimes they just need a hug.  Guarantee you this, they never got a hug from her if they were whining... I didn't like either one of them last night....Poor kids....Hubbies were kinda dopey too.  I wish they'd find something else to put on, on Monday's at 8...
I'm not a big fan of Deal or No Deal.  Its just an annoying show, to me so I'll check back and forth and see if they're close to "winning" before I'll stick with it...

Just Saturday

For right now there is nothing....I've got a humdinger of a week ahead and all I can think of is sleep.  Its not very nice here and its cold so going outside just doesn't appeal to me.  I may just couch it out today and, believe this or not, watch basketball.  After all there are two SEC teams still in this... oh and for the golf fans...I'll be watching that tournament too...all probably from the couch......grrrr...Just a big ole' nuthn' day

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING...

I've done a lot this weekend but nothing to tell about....Bought curtains and hung them.. Moved the living room sheers upstairs to my bedroom...Whoopie....Took myself to Red Lobster courtesy of my sister birthday present to me and ate like a pig...But right now..I'm a happy little pig...
I'm now watching "conviction"....I'm thinking this stinks.  I've had it on about 20 minutes and am having a bit of trouble with it....Anyone else watch it?  If so , what did you think.?  All of our Sunday night shows are gone tonight due to the Oscars....I don't give a rats a$$ about the Oscars so......................I'm going to look for something else beside "conviction" to watch....mmmm

This one has to be short and quick.  My alarm clock has a back up battery...Didn't work last night and t would seem I had no power for 1-1/2 hrs at least.   So, of course I'm running late...Thank goodness Maxi had to go out or I'd still be asleep..
Don't forget...2 episodes of Lost tonight and also "Criminal Minds" which I will TIVO.  It is my favorite show but everyone will be talking about "Lost" tomorrow so I'd better watch it...I love "Lost" too...Wednesday's are shaping up pretty good now.

Happy Hump Day

Nothing special here.  As you can see I spent last night making a banner for Georgia week football.  This game didn't used to be very big until Georgia got good.  Now, considering that Florida lost last week, beating Georgia is very important.  So.......bear with me.  I am going to work on that banner some more but NCIS was coming on and I knew I would watch that.  Also...working on some Christmas gifts means I can't just play with creating banners etc. 

I watched GAR, family version, last night.  As usual there are too many families right now.  I can tell you this,  I'm thinking this family version may just suck.  I have yet to see a family that I really like.  The Rogers family came in last and went home last night.  The father stated that something he did is what caused them to come in last.  He said something about teaching his teenage son a lesson.  Then they interviewed the teen age son and guess what?  He hadn't learned anything except his Dad was stupid.   Now, they weren't the worst.  There is a family called Paolo and they have the two worst kids.  God all they do is bitch about the parents and all the Mom does it yell, yell , yell and when she's not doing that..............She's whining...........They came in second to last.  Like I said, this could be a lousy run of GAR.  As for who went home.....

Close to Home.  I watched that last night.  I had it ready to tape so I could go to sleep but I couldn't stop watching.  Of course I'm ready to drop today but it was pretty good.  I must say it started out better than it ended as far as the way it was written etc but it has potential. I did keep thinking something will happen with a twist to make it more interesting at the end ....No such luck.. Next week.  I'll sleep. 

Baseball winners yesterday.................St. Louis, Chicago (dammit no, not the Cubs) and the Yankees.........Only game today is Atlanta/Houston.   Go Braves.**Edit** There are three games today..The only teams not playing today are the Cardinals/Padres.....Sorry

Oh, I just walked to the kitchen and they have a live report on today.  Let me be the first to say  "Happy Walk to School Day" everyone!!!!  And I'm quite glad my children are grown.............See ya....

Trying Tuesdays

I have nothing. zero , nada...And have you noticed that Tuesdays don't help?  I mean there is NOTHING special about a Tuesday.  It has no "nickname", no reputation, nothing...so..I'm off to work and will look toward Hump Day for at least a day with some sort of meaning...mmm.. 

I just heard that Bill Parcells is 64 today.  I can't stand Bill Parcells.

I've got nuthin'

For some reason I was absolutely beat today.  Don't ask why I don't know..Probably just lazy.  I did stay up and watch the end of the race last night and damn.......Mikey came in second.  That's bad enough but Kurt Busch won...grrrr.  I am thrilled for the DEI cars.. both in the top five with Talladega next week...good time for them for sure

Today, the Cubs won..Yep I know, so what, but you should have lived through that damn game yesterday.  Having it won, and then having the closer blow it AGAIN was just awful.  I was worried to death that Dusty would use Latroy to close this one, but evidently his brain cells were working and he didn't even try to put him in.

I did get to talk to Xzhibit today.  First time in about three weeks.  Anyone want to buy a house in Kansas City...He really needs to sell it so he can move..It was great talking to him though.  He's my hero...(well, right before Mikey, and Anderson)..If he'd call more, he'd have a bigger lead...

I sure do miss him and love him a lot....Sons are like that, you know...
