THAT WHALE IS NOT JACK THE RIPPER!!!!

I feel much better now.  I feel so awful about the death of the trainer at Sea World the other day.  I'm sure her family is devastated.. BUT

She was doing exactly what she wanted to do.  She loved it and boy she was good at it. (News conference).  You should see this thing.  These reporters are acting like Sea World is in a conspiracy to save the whale.  The reporters  are annoying the snot out of me.  How the hell is anyone supposed to know what the Whale was thinking when it happened. 

They're (reporters) indicating the whale killed the person who jumped into his tank that night after closing hours.  Why did they let him live then?  Now Dawn is dead because he (as a killer whale) was allowed to live.   The damned idiot human snuck into the whales tank, after hours and guess what....I'm betting the whale thought he was a toy for him to play with......Human idiot.

They keep asking why Sea World is going to let the trainers get back in the water with the whales............The whale pulled Dawn INTO the water by her pony tail.  I'm assuming to play but...She was not in the water when he got her..

I just want them to remember the whale is an animal.  He is called a 'killer whale".  He's out of his normal environment, in a little tank, weighs 12,000#.  I'm pretty sure Dawn would want these news people to stop acting like he's a murderer and I do to.  He probably has no idea what he's done.

Well, here we go..   I voted.  Not that I wasn't going to but I had no idea who the heck I was going to vote for.  I must say the I voted for the one that scared me the least and that's all I'm saying.   Oh.  it was sooo crowded I couldn't believe it.  I've always voted early and usually its not crowed or anything but I got there about 10:20 am and it was full and full of grumpy people too.  The only thing I can say it......just vote...

Bail out.....

I'm not sure I know all the details of this bail out thing.  I also don't understand why it would help me or anyone else in my place in life.  All I see is the president, who's friends are in the oil business making plenty of money trying to make his Wall Street friends make some quick .....before he leaves office.  This is his last chance to screw us and help his friends.  That's all I see but its what I see and what I feel about the whole thing. 
Here's this issue....Who do we put in his place?  Neither one of them appeal to me so I'm rather stuck here, and its a little late in the race isn't it?
And what  happens if we don't help out?  Didn't we do that in the depression?  Didn't help for very long did it.....So what makes anyone think it'll work now. 
So in other words....I don't like what we have and I don't like either one of the alternatives....Fine fix I'm in.

How 'bout you

The list of schools closed is incredibly long. Today and tomorrow due to illness...Both students and teachers.....I think this is the second time our local schools have been closed to illness.  Supposedly this time its the teacher.  How about your area?

I was just about to have a major pity party, feeling so sorry for myself.  Everytime I get like that something tells me I'd better shake it off cause I have NO reason to feel like that..

3:30 pm....Good God this is dreadful.  I can't stop crying and thanking God that neither one of my children were there.  Praying is absolutely all we can do for them right now...

Goodness....

Imus is gone...from TV and radio.  They just announced it ...That's all.  I feel bad for his ranch and the kids he's been helping.  I hope he can figure out at way to keep it going.  Even if he wasn't such a doll.  It's a good place.

I'm leaving in the morning and won't be back until Sunday.  Maxi and I have both been to the beauty shop (hah) and we're ready.  I'll for sure take lots of pictures and I can't wait to visit my family. I'm going to take my laptop but I don't know if I'll have access to WIFI anywhere so if you don't hear from me....that's where I am.  I'll try to send stuff from my phone but Typepad doesn't like that stuff..
I'll probably be back late tonight during "Survivor"

OMG.....

It was so warm last night.  It's actually 50 right now.  This is good and the weather dude has no idea what's going on with that but..............The firefighters are so lucky...

This is whats going on now in downtown K town.  Its an old part of the city that they've been trying to improve on and draw residents down there.  The problem being there are still a lot of old buildings down there and this one has been on fire all night.  No one has been killed or anything like that but there have been lots of evacuations from condo's and apartments.  No one has any idea what caused the fire but the fact that its been warm (good for firefighters) but windy (not so good) has made it a rather different type of battle............. Oh yeah....UT beat LSU last night.........nice

Sad Day

This is sad for me.  I remember him so well and I remember when he pardoned Nixon.  At first I really hated what he did.  Heck, I hated him for doing it.  I, probably like a lot of people, wanted Nixon ruined forever. Go away, don't ever come back.....and here he lets him off. Scott free..Bless his heart, it cost him the next election.  How else do you think a peanut farmer from Georgia could beat Ford in the election?
BUT...I voted for him.  By the time the election came around I knew he was right in getting "Watergate" off the front pages so the country could go on.  We had had years and years of Nixon, Watergate, lying etc and he just wanted it to go away..I was sorry he lost.  I liked him a lot and wanted him to be president on his own. Not as a result of Agnew's resignation, his appointment, then Nixon's resignation.  I have no doubt he did too.
Rest in Peace Mr. President.  You did the best with what you were handed and we needed you at the time.   Thanks!!!
