I've felt odd and quite tired. I've always felt that way after a treatment so, as miserable as I was it was like that all the time BUT the tingling and neurpathy (?) was getting worse. Mon. night it was up to my knees and just driving me nuts. I mentioned it to the nurse and she called in a medicine called Lyrica. It supposed to help but here's the kicker. After 3 days of taking it. my index fingers are useless. I can't pick up anything using them heck I can't even push the button on the remote with and index finger. I don't know if its the medicine our the effects of the medicine OXY that I stopped taking. After I stopped the OXY the neurapathy went away for a while but now it has come back with a vengeance.
I'm not sure about my spelling today so don't hold me accountable ok? One of the knuckles on my left index finger is swollen and sore while the right arm is sore and that index finger is useless. I'm rather confused if I should keep taking the meds or not. Maybe I'm just getting an old person attack. I don't know.
I'm impatient. I want to feel wonderful since I'm off chemo but....when realization hits, I've really only been off if it since Thursday and since I've had the crap pumped into me for 6 months, it will probably take that long to get it out of my system.
I'm very tire this morning. I think I'll go the Einstein Bagels and get something for breakfast, get my oil changed and come on home . Big game tonight UT vs Alabama. I hope they don't chew us up and spit us out like Georgia did. GO VOLS!!!
