I know this show is supposed to be a drama but I found myself laughing at it last night.
The first time was when Bree told Andrew, who has said he thought he was gay, that she would love him even if he was a murderer. Then she invites the minister to dinner to try to convince him to change. That was funny, especially when, she told Andrew that she and Steven were into S & M.. Then she tells him that he won't go to heaven if he's gay. That's when it stopped being funny at all.
The bad thing is this. There are actually people who think that way. I have known some that believe he is sinning and will never ever be able to redeem himself, and I also know some people who just hate gay men. The more I thought about that, I realized that this story line may be one for people to think about. Especially people who have the same feelings Bree has. There is no way their thinking will change. They were brought up that way...Taught to feel that, just because someone isn't "following the rules", there is no way they can get into heaven. That is sad...
Now, not to get too maudlin, what do you think Andrew is going to do when he "rocks her world"? And how many more story lines can they possible come up with to end this season with? One final thought..Do you think John is going to learn not to give Gabrielle ( or any woman ) his credit card? Speaking of Gabrielle...She won, didn't she?
I really gotta watch this show, everyone raves about it

I give Gabrielle game, set, and match.
And tes, sadly there are many people like Bree. Especially here in the South. Somehow they overlook the idea of "Judge not, lest ye be judged/"
And if Andrew has trouble getting into heaven I think it has more to do with running over an old ldy and having no remorse. A nice little sociopath in the making.

I don't know, but I'm still stuck on the fact that Mrs. Landingham is alive and well as Mrs. McCluskey...

I think that Andrew is making it up to divide his parents (and get out of that boot camp).

I need A LOT of catching up with the housewives......
I have your quote of the day hanging on my bulletin board over my desk!!!!!
I also have one that says: "If you are nasty, mean or just plain grumpy, there will be a $10 charge just for putting up with you"!!!!!
