Empty Nest

Last vacation day

Goodness it doesn't seem like it took very long.  Back to work tomorrow.  I think I'm doing ok but the tired....I can't seem to shake that.  I guess that's what happens when you get a tad older.  The burn on my back seems to be healing and that's good. I guess I should find a new heating pad.. Oh yeah, and the burn on my right hand, from the oven, is doing good too.  I just show's so to speak. 
I have noticed that it doesn't take that much to fill me up any more.  Of course that could be due to the water diet for nearly a week. 
Rosco is out sunning.  I think sometimes he thinks my house is cold so he tans for a while to warm up.
Ok, that's the exciting of my last vacation day.  I am going to post a recent picuture of Andyz that I have fallen in love with.  Of course its Miss Zoots picture but..............I am granny

Vacation

So...its cloudy and rainy today.  Its done that on and off all week.  So..I've been shopping.  Not so smart, but fun. It does look like its going to be this way all day today. 
I watched that new Fox show "Mental" last night.  It's looking pretty good .  Its not like Mentalist or Lie to me.  Its set in a psychiatric hospital.  The lead is the head of the psychiatric department.  He's also unconventional and quite entertaining.  Give it a try if you get a chance.  I'm not sure when its on since I watched it on DVR, but it is on FOX. 
Maxi and I slept until 10 am.  He didn't try to wake me up and needless to say..I didn't either.  I was dreaming that he (Maxi) and I were on an airplane together.  Go figure.  We were flying home and I was sneaking him on the airplane.  /????
I guess I'll clean some things, do laundry and maybe.....just maybe clean out the closet or drawers.  MAYBE

I've made it home and I had a wonderful time.  Many pictures which I'll post very very soon but for now the landlord raised the rent 13% and the da*m A/C is out and its 90 degrees here.  Of course I set it on 76 when I left and its getting very very warm in here even w/ many fans.  grrrr..

I'm on the road today.  I'm going to see Zoot in Huntsville.  To see AndyZ for the first time and to play with Nikki.  I'm so excited.  I'll take my computer and hopefully post a thing or two while I'm there.   

Terrific Tuesday

Good Morning....there, that starts the day on a good step.  I don't know whats going on here but its so darned hot and believe me I Hate Hot...all I want to do is sleep...all day.. or, if I could I'd stay home and watch my new HD Television.!!! Whoo. Did you see the picture below.  I got a great deal on it brought it home and have been in heaven (well, TV heaven) since.  Let me tell you something.  Tiger Woods as GREAT buns...I mean much better than they were on my drastically old, big and heavy tv.  Lets face it at my age the "buns" of anyone just doesn't catch my attention, but this TV makes you notice!!!
So on the white chair next to my entertainmnent center(which I will never have another) sits that huge elephant of a TV.  It an old 29" tv.  and that's as far as I could get the damn thing and I had to use my desk chair with wheels to slide it over there and slide it up there.  Mercifully one of my co-workers is going to come and get it and let his parents have it.  There TV is in a cabinet..  You know, from ages ago when you could get TV bult into a "credenza" etc. Its acting up and so I told him he could have this if he'd come and get it...And he said yes. He's coming tonight.  That's good because that big thing in that chair with a brown blanket on it................well it looks like its going to fall........Oh yeah, let me tell you that Flat panels may be lighter than this elephant of a TV that's on the seat but...they're still Heavy as hell..........Thank god for my 15 yr old desk chair.  Its just a great little worker.

OGIM and so forth

Well, my vacation is over.  It was nice, long but not long enough. Are they ever?  It was wonderful.  I got so much "cleaning out" after living here for 10 years.  You know that "instructions" when you buy something.  The one's that say "keep the box in case you need to return"..........10 years worth of that is an enormous amount of trash.  I swear I have every single box that I bought something in OOPS.  Had...Now the trash dude's need to take it.  I've slice them up into smaller pieces. So there is a big pile out there (all in plastic bags) for them to come and get.  And get this.....NOPEY..  Not done, just decided I probably shouldn't put every single thing out there.  My pack-rat days need to be over don't ya think?  There's two trash cans and 10 lawn and leaf bags out there ..Since we have to pay for trash to be picked up....they're going to earn it this week...
BTW.  There was this little incident while I was visiting my daughter.. We were going into a store one morning and the "alarm" in the store went off.   Zoot says..."its me and Lilz" we do it all the time.  So I go on in.  We shop and it goes off on the way out.  No problem...A little later we went to Barnes & Nobel.  Set off the alarm on the way in...Kind of announce to them that we set it off and will probably do it on the way out.   As Zoot was on the way into the section for music, she went through the other "alarms" and it didn't go off.  Not a sound.  "Mom" come here.  Its got to be you its not me so here I go and sure enough....sirens etc.  Folks we tried everything and it was my purse (I had switched early that day).  We took out everything it could be and the little sob kept setting it off.  We never did find out what it was and I warned the girl at the "exit" register and the purse is sitting on the floor in my room never to be used again.  No Idea at all as to what it was and not brave enough to carry it...Anyone have any ideas what it might be?  There is nothing in that damn purse   oh yeah, threre are some stores it doesn't set off...........EEEEKKK.  And I liked it too..

OMG....Its Friday

Since I can't really count the weekend as vacation, this is my last day.  And I've been awake since 4:30am.  I hate that.  I don't know why but awake I am.  Maxi on the other hand.  Isn't.  I've cleaned out two major closest and guess what?  I'm a pack rat.  A real pack rat.  I've got two trans cans, one is 45 gallon, the other is 95 and they're full. And there are 5 huge backs on the patio for me to carry out on Sunday.  And.  I'm NOT done.   I haven't even gotton to the guest bedroom which I have used as a catch all for the past year.  That is today except I want to go to sleep..
Did you watch the Pirate Master last night?  I did.  I'm reserving judgment on it.  I did care who got booted off and glad about who did but I'm not seeing this as good yet.  There isn't any competition so it may work.  Let me know what you think?
Go LeBron.  Nice game last night.  Dammit he's good.

Hump Day...here

My vacation is boring.  I have tons of projects I want to get done.  I worked on a few small ones yesterday but today is the start of the bigger ones.  I'm going to try to clean out all the stuff I have here that I haven't used in "a million years".  I'm going to have to run to Walmart and get a large trash can because the one I have is going to be very full today. 
Maxi and I are tired.  More so today than yesterday but I am not going to give up on my goals. 
I keep remembering the good things about this past weekend.  I wish I was a talented writer so I could go into how much that visit meant to me.  I'm so glad I went and I just keep smiling remembering so much of it.  My grandson is growing into such a fine you man.  Really.  I know he's not even in high school yet but I so enjoyed the time with him and am looking forward to seeing him again.  They're coming in in 3 wks and I'll get to see him again there. 
Anyway.  I'm off to get things done but I wanted to share how wonderful LilZ is and how much I enjoyed my visit with him...I've posted some pictures on Flickr too.....

Day one...

Day one and I haven't done much.  Which, of course, was my plan.  I drove out to the cable company to get another box.  It turns out the twit that told me it would be 20+ bucks a couple of months ago.   Not so much.  So I've got the DVR stuff in the bedroom now and I shall be a happy person. I always found it rather annoying to be watching something I'd recorded and wanted to go to bed upstairs.  No recordings so I've fixed that and will enjoy going to bed when I want to now.  I lead such an exciting life..
I also went to Big Lots this morning..  Now I don't go there a lot.  Maybe 3-4 times a year and its usually early Sat morning.  Well, today isn't Saturday and so help me god, that was hell on earth.  I think the people there on Sat am are workers who only have the weekend to get done what they need and the fricking movie it!!  Not the people who are there during the week. NOPEY.  Park the carts anywhere.  There were more aisles I couldn't get down, blocked by carts with NO PEOPLE near them, than aisles I could.  I finally gave up and left. Ran home and hugges my dog.  Just to recover my sanity.   
I also stopped at Target this morning to get some tea lights.  Not fancy, not scented but about 100.  I had about 15 left of my old bag and Target is the only place I knew to get them.  I found them, 100 to a bag $2.50.  Just what I wanted.  Bought two.  Then went to Big Lots and they had them too.....1 bag, 100 ea, FOUR BUCKS.....Gotta be careful sometimes.....Yeah Target...
Oh  yeah, and its snowing here. Just flurries but the temperature has dropped 10 degrees since this AM.  This could get very, very interesting...heheh..

T.G.I.T. --OR FRIDAY?

Its Friday for me....Whoooo  Friday.  I have FOUR days off again.  FOUR...and I can not wait again.  If I was independently wealthy I'd have four day weekends every week...whooo.
I personally want to thank Ernesto...Thanks to him the "cool" weather has yet to get here and its hot and miserable this morning.  It's also supposed to rain all day but...they haven't gotton that right all week so we'll see.  I just don't want it to rain while I'm driving in my non-air conditioned car today.  Foggy windows for sure. 
Hope Papi is ok......heart problems at such a young age is scary..Sorry Red Sox fans. 
One of my customers left yesterday for Hilton Head, SC for vacation.  MMMMM.  have you looked at the radar for SC?......How's that working for you?  Sorry for everyone who did that.  You know, planned vacation in hurricane season.  She mentioned that she's had to cancel before due to Hurricanes..I think I might change my visit to the beach for April/May type time and totally avoid hurricane problems.  Just saying.
Hurry up Ernesto.. get the hell off the east coast its Labor Day Weekend....Geeze.
Don't forget BB is tonight.. I just went to a few sites that update and there isn't much going on right now.  I guess tonight is where all the action is. 
There were some commenter's saying Survivor was canceled., other saying sponsors are backing away..I'm just wondering if all these people "bit*hing" about what Survivor is doing, have EVER watched the darned show.  If not, they need to shut up. I'm rather convinced that the producers probably love all the attention and,like they've done before, they'll merge the tribes into two groups and ethnic background won't make a difference... Enough on that..

I'm home.  Home folks.  That means I'm not at work and that is soooo good.  I have a four day weekend.  And I have a four day weekend next weekend too.  Talk about stretching your vacation days etc.  I'm going to have to go to Walmart in a few minutes since I don't have the a/c in the car, my plan is to get there early and back before it gets too hot.  I think this may be the last weekend that it'll be really hot and that will be a good thing.  I may get it fixed tomorrow....long story
I've got the radio one and they're talking about the car race this weekend.  Bristol is Sat night and Bristol is up the road so to speak...Any how, the guys just said that he's staying in the Ramada Inn...just said he's paying $200.00 to stay in the Ramada Inn...Yep, Bristol TN lives for the weekends of the Nascar races..and this one (August) is sold out for years to come.  Bristol weekend..nuthin' better
Did you watch BB last night?  I'm so glad they didn't screw it up and vote Chicken George out last night.  I was a bit afraid that they would.  Did Danielle scare you a bit last night?  There was one scene where I thought she was going to murder Will and Boogie.  She's just a bit scary.  If Janelle doesn't win POV she's goner don't ya think?
I'll hate that.  She's still the only reason I watch.  How well do you think Howie and Marci are doing?  That was a hoot.  Howie was getting on my nerves though.  I know Marci is a whiner but Howie is very, very annoying. Closed up with him for a week would do me in too, I do believe.  one thing  "Hey Marci, shut up ok?  there isn't a damn thing wrong with where you're staying and you're getting paid to do it  SHUT UP"...Now I feel better, thanks..

Day Four.....dammit

Not much going on here.  It's raining again this afternoon and its really okay.  I haven't figure it out yet but I'm still tired.  No matter how much I sleep.  I could be because I'm just being plain lazy.  I am, and I'm doing it very well too I might add. 
Has anyone had an abundance of junk email or spam mail.  I'll bet in the past two days I've gotten about 20 emails screaming about Ephedra being available.  Hell, I never asked for that from anyone.  That's the only one that's specific.  The other 300 are general. Selling anything I guess.  I did change my "home" email program and that could be some of the problem with my comcast address but the worst of it is this address which didn't used to be an issue. dammit...
Does anyone watch NCIS?  If you do, do you really think Gibbs is gone? I mean, if he's gone, I'm done watching...I mean that seriously.  I sure don't line Dinozo nor Gibbs ex girlfriend, now chief.... I mean, besides Gibbs, I like Abby and Ducky but not enough to watch it religiously like I do now...
BTW, I did watch a basketball game last night.  On and off during Amazing Race I kept up with the Cleveland/Detroit game and Cleveland won again.  As long as they keep winning, I'll keep watching....Same with Dallas.
Cubs championship pitcher (Kerry Woods) is back today and I've got it on. Its the third inning and the score is 4-0.  Not in favor of the Cubs.  So far he's given up at least two if not 3 home runs.  mmmmmm  How'd that recovery go Kerry?  geeze
Oh yeah, they're playing the Nationals......geeze.
I'm off, to watch this wonderful baseball game.  I'm going to set my alarm for tomorrow to help me get back into getting up early.  Don't get me wrong it won't be at 5:30 am.. Probably 7..Since I've been sleeping until 9-10 every morning.  Back later.........

EIGHT HOURS...That's it....EIGHT....and then I'm off for all of next week.  How excited am I?  Indescribable........Maxi is so excited too., he can't wait...
It is freaking COLD here.  I'm sorry but its May 12th (I know this because my vacation starts tomorrow am) and its 50 degrees.  I'm not complaining.  Not a bit. I'd love to live in this climate all year long, but this is very odd for May.   Depending on clouds/sun it may not get out of the 60's today or tomorrow.  I love this stuff....I've got some pictures I'll post over the weekend from yesterday that are something else..And of course one for "celebration" on Sat.
OK.  listen.  I've never watched American Idol.  Not even one episode. Yes I know its a huge success and a ton of people watch it but not me....I can tell you this though ...Whoever the hell Chris is....he/she should never have been sent home according to my "Internet"visits from yesterday and this morning.  ALSO, I don't know if you know what the TV show PTI is, but its a talk show on ESPN.  It led off yesterday with both Wilbon and Kornheiser screaming about Chris going home.  Doesn't he have any friends? Just saying...and a question for all of the people who are complaining...Did you vote for him?  Just asking..
SURVIVOR.  Why didn't Terry let Danielle use the Immunity dolly?  My question is this...Could Terry have kept it and if Danielle was voted off can he use it on her? I mean, give it to her after the vote or does the person who has it has to have it before the vote?  The thing will do him no good now so I don't understand why he didn't let Danielle use it.  Please explain or tell me what you think....  Could it have been payback?  Fear that she would have told Aras and Cirie and then would have all voted Terry off?  That's my biggest question from last night.  It wasn't such a good show, at least I didn't think so and continuing it on Sunday really, really ticked me off.  Although, I must say that it will probably make Sunday's finale easier to bear.  Maybe they'll cut  that "final walk" remembering all the contestants.  Anyone who didn't know what that was would think the two finalists killed them off.........Tell me what you thought about last nights show, and please explain to me why Chris being sent home on American Idol is so bad...

Oh my goodness...

Well, we went to O'Charley's for lunch...Oh really, well yes..could you tell........and off to see Monster in Law....What a hoot...it was such a good movie and I hate to say that because Jane Fonda was in it, and actually she was quite good.  I don't like her, never will...Most people my age know why but it was a funny movie and a nice afternoon..

Then we came back to the apartment and watched "Seabiscuit"..I had seen it but no one else had and its well worth watching at least two times maybe more...and then we attacked the pot of spaghetti....My sisters kept thanking me for the spaghetti but I didn't make it just to make good spaghetti.  I made it for the four of us to spend a very nice afternoon together, at the house where we could kick off shoes, joke, laugh and remember how much we loved each other...and it was done very well and very nicely.  They've gone back to the motel, to get some sleep to drive back in the morning.  I'll miss them but expect to see them again during the holidays..and they're supposed to let me know that they made it back ok sometime tomorrow...

So, as far as vacations go this was the best I've had in forever.  A week with Zoots and then three wonderful days with my sisters..You know...you just can't do any better than that..It was wonderful and tomorrow is a trip back to reality....I'm ready...

Last Day....Damn

Well today is last day of vacation..  I must return to work tomorrow.  When I set the alarm this morning, I thought for a moment my wrist was broken. It really really didn't want to push that damn button..ugh...

I'm going to the store and purchase spaghetti ingredients, make the sauce, leave it in the crock pot and off we're going.. We going "malling" then to the movies, then back for dinner...and that will be it.  They leave in the morning and I return to work...

This vacation, beginning last Saturday (June 4th), has been the best one in years.  I needed it and I hope the effects of a wonderful break will last for a while...Sometimes you just need a reminder how having family is just wonderful..yep, just wonderful.....

What a great day!!!

I'm back...and my sisters went to the motel to "unwind" for a while, but what a wonderful day...We took off for the mountains, on the way we stopped and drove past the house we "grew up" in.  What a change.  Our Mom had always wanted to remodel that house.  She described it vividly to all of us, but with seven children, it was just a dream...Well. the owner did everything my mom wanted done to that house.  It's beautiful.  I can almost imagine her looking down and saying "that's it....yep...that's it". 

Then we headed back to the interstate and on our way.  We got talking about childhood memories and joking an laughed ourselves right past the exit until we were forced to make a decision as to what interstate we wanted.  So, we stopped and ate at a Cracker Barrel and drove on and took the very long, but scenic way to the mountains and Gatlinburg. 

We got out and walked around, stopped at Baskins Ice Cream and headed back to the car and proceeded up the mountains.  Let me tell you something..The mountains in Tennessee are absolutely breath taking...We talked, laughed and just enjoyed our company together.  We haven't all been together since Christmas 2002 so we had a lot of catching up to do......My sides actually hurt from laughing so hard for so long.

Anyway, it was a lovely day. I'm waiting for them to come back and we'll go eat and hopefully not get tossed from the restaurant..

Tomorrow my be a matinee movie and I'm trying to persuade them to come back and let me make spaghetti.

Well, its Monday morning and I still don't have to go to work!!! Life is good....

Actually, I'm still on vacation.  My three sisters are visiting and we are planning on going to the mountains for the day. It's raining right now so we may postpone it until tomorrow.. We're thinking about it...Seeing all of them is great.  We went to dinner last night at had a ball.  You know..how you go out and someone says something funny and it only gets hysterical from that point. ? Its amazing we didn't get tossed from the restaurant and from .......in honor of Zoot....Target...  We stopped there on the way back...

My new neighbors and I are just not getting along at all.  I asked them to free up my other parking space for my guest, by leaving a note in the windshield wiper of their car.  They weren't home..So, as we were leaving last night,of course, I had a note where she informed me that the parking spaces were for the tenants and not guests and I should tell them to park in another place...Have you ever seen "red".........grrrr.   One of my sisters told me to ignore it but I just don't know.....  They weren't home last night either..I called the landlord and asked him to please straighten her out on that issue, but I'm pretty sure he won't. 

When I got up this morning and went to let Maxi out there was a glove of something nasty right in front of my door.  I'm not sure what it was.  At first it looked like a mushed, stomped bug, but when closely examined it looked like some kind of stem of a plant but it looked like someone had spit there too.........oohhh...that's nasty..sorry....So of course, you can imagine my paranoia now.  Everything that goes wrong will be their fault.....

I guess I'd better get in the shower and get ready to go cruisin' through the mountains...Have a great day everyone... and

By the way.  My car is very carefully parked across two, count em' two, parking spaces..............just sayin' in case I'm found murdered.........

I'm not sure but I think I don't like this Friday..It's the last day of my visit to Alabama...mmmm..I think I'm going to miss my daughter and her family a lot...

She's not working today...She and LilZ went shopping for the cookout tonight..here...no grill....I was wondering how we were going to do a cookout with no grill...

I'm working on getting some pregnant pictures but she...like Rock Star Mommy ,thinks she 's fat and ugly.. I know that sometime pregnancy can make you feel that way, at least fat, but neither one of the is even close to ugly.............I personally think they're both beautiful pregnant or not...so there.

Just a little interjection here on the Cubs.  Today they're playing the Boston Red Sox at Wrigley.  These two teams have never played each other in Wrigley Field.  I can't wait..If I have to I'll listen to it on XM radio, but it is on WGN..........

Dinner last night was wonderful and so much fun.  We ate and laughed and had a ball. LilZ ate a pound of crab legs all by himself....He was so proud of himself...and he did a great job cracking and eating and not making a godawful mess.  I did that...Anyway, a good time was had by all but I must admit.....I didn't sleep worth a wink last night..Never drink 2-3 glasses of iced tea at dinner and expect not to pee ALL NIGHT LONG.....grrrrr

I do have one complaint...Miss Zoot will not let me help her with anything...I want to help her do housework today and she wants to do it herself.  She says that its much easier to do housework in a house you own and she really wants to do it herself today...Don't get me wrong, I hate housework but she's pregnant and I want her to take it easy while I'm here...Of course, she wont...........I will tell you this..I managed to find the vacuum cleaner yesterday and began vacuuming the house...Now, some people might call this a cute "little" first home...........HAHAHA..It ain't that little when you're vacuuming it....and, since the carpet will tell exactly where you have, and haven't vacuumed, you have to get all of the corners, move chairs, tables etc....whoooo.....and we never found any of the the 8 pieces missing from our puzzle....Miss Zoot is convinced that a cat jumped on the table, knocked them off and Sweetie ate them...oh well,   Doing it was fun..............

Let me tell you about...

This house......I absolutely love this place.  It is so nice and pretty darn cozy too...Its set up perfectly for a family of three 1/2 and 4 animals, plus one granny and her dog Maxi...

The living room is a great size with those beautiful couches that are so darn comfortable. I was up watching TV last night weighing whether I should sleep on the couch or my bed. I then considered all the animals that live here and went to bed...BUT....if there weren't all the critters I'd have slept on the couch...The living room is also big enough for a card table so we can work on the damn puzzle some dopey person bought for us to work on...I guarantee you there are pieces missing,,,,,really....

The room(s) that I love the best though are the kitchen and great/family/office room...It is such a huge area and right now..the morning sun is coming through the windows and its beautiful here...LilZ is out side and so are most of the dogs...Maxi won't go out there unless I'm with him and I'm here (figured that out didn't ya)...and right now I have a big ole cat tail in front of my screen, just like yesterday..Life is good here too...Maxi and Cisco are sharing duties in smelling their privates!!!  geeze...   

LilZ's room rocks just like the pictures on Zoots site, and when the paint the solar system on the wall it will be totally awesome..and to quote Lilz...that bed is sooo comfy...

We're going to Red Lobster tonight for dinner.. Anyone who has ever asked me what my favorite food is, know that, beginning this evening at six o'clock I will be in food heaven...Totally food heaven...Hurry up six o'clock.....

We're making progress on the puzzle.  I'd like to get it done before I leave just because I'm sure they would prefer the card table be down, especially before tomorrow night...Miss Zoot is hosting a cookout tomorrow evening.  I did by puzzle glue so Lilz can keep the puzzle and frame it if he wants to so finishing it would be good..............Of course, finishing might be difficult with all the pieces that, as I said earlier, are missing...

And yes, I'm sure its hot at home too but..............I'm here not there so I'm bitching about this weather...that's all though..

If you notice Miss Zoot watched Brad last night..after reading her update, I know why her makeup is still here...She's still thinking about that show...I noticed that she didn't even blink when I said "I'm going to bed"...

The "Petro's" were good last night...I love eating those things, and I must tell you ..when Lilz and I were shopping I picked up a jar of salsa.. Well, as we progressed through the store I found a bigger jar.. I asked him what he thought..big jar, little jar... He wasn't sure so...big jar was it..and thank goodness for that!!  They eat that stuff like its ice cream!!...So...when the Zoots say they like Salsa....Folks...they're NOT fibbing...nopey not even exaggerating a bit.......

I tried to get LilZ into NCIS last night..I'm not sure whether it was a success or not...I'm thinking he might fall in love with Abby...I love Abby..I think everyone who watches NCIS loves Abby.........When he wakes up, I'll have to find out.  And since you all are waiting will baited breath, I'll let you know.

Cubs are playing today and its on TV. LilZ said watching would be fine so I'm thinking some popcorn etc and the two of us watching...It's okay if he gets bored tho'. We've always got the puzzle..and I may go get some more bloonies...I love those things...............

Did you see my most recent picture?  That was Bambi on top of the monitor...He's so sweet..and the picture from last night of him sitting on the straw thingy above the picture of the puzzle....well, I had turned around and was trying to figure out something about the puzzle and Bambi moved.  I never saw him there and he scared the BEJEZZUS out of me.......

I love all of these animals..but I'm pretty sure that I'm glad they live with the Zoots and no Zoots Mom... heheheh..And I'm sure they are too...

HAPPY TUESDAY...

Its Tuesday and I'm still having a wonderful time but...I must tell you this..I woke up this morning at 6:30 a.m. (CST) and both Zoots were gone to work.  Imagine that.  here I thought me leaving when I do at home was early but nopey...They get up a whole lot earlier and get out...That made me tired so I may have to go back to bed...hehehe...really, I might....

LilZ is still sleeping and I hope he's enjoying that.  I used to love it too. We're going to make "Petro's" for supper tonight. And we still have one more Robot to make and feeling the urge for more.  Plus, we have a big ole puzzle to work on.. Miss Zoot helped us with it yesterday since LilZ and I were in his room watching the Cubbies play baseball. 

Isn't he a sweetie..."Grammy, you can go in my room and watch the Cubs if you want to"  and then he came with me so here we were. LilZ, Me, Dog Maxi, Dog Cisco, Cat Sunflower all watching the cubs...Now, the Cat may have been buttercup no sunflower..Its the same cat, and quite lovable but I have a thing about her name, and Sweetie's name.  I keep calling Sweetie, susie...of course, that doesn't matter to her..What ever you refer to Sweetie as...she'll still kiss you to death...She's such a doll..although Maxi isn't real fond of her.  I think Max has lost poundage already.  He's used to sleeping all day and that hasn't happened since last Thursday!! hehehe

Oh, you ask why is she talking about the pets all the time? I was afraid Miss Zoot wasn't giving them enough attention, so you can come here for more......you know, just in case..

I'll probably be sending more pictures before today is over.. Although its overcast and icky looking today so it may be robots again..Have a great day everyone......talk to you later

I'M HERE!!!

Maxi and I made it in 3 1/2 hours...I'm not sure what I was thinking when I said 4+ hrs except I had NO traffic problems at all!!  And of course seeing my daugher, son in law and all the doggies...I'm taking pictures and the litter box has been solved but I'll let Miss Zoot tell you..We went shopping,  Guess where?  mmmmm....and Walmart is closer...But I know the way now...LilZ will be back tomorrow....whoooo...Back later...
