Oh to file...

You know what I did today?  Spend a good deal of time filing and sorting out piles and piles of papers.  I haven't attacked any of that since I moved into this house.  It's not perfect by any chance and some people might not like my method but.....I can find stuff and that's all that matters.  You wouldn't believe what I threw away.  I'm such a pack rat and day's like this make me cringe.  I does give me a good feeling though, not to walk into that room and see the piles of crap sitting on that desk.
Then I paid bills, and left them in a pile...................Go figure.
Oh yeah, and 86 is too damn hot for this time of year in Tennessee....Go Cubbies, finally

Question

What in the Sam Hill is a twitter notification?  They keep popping up in the corner of my screan saying Notification, a little red circle with a number in it, and sometimes it says CNN search and sometimes other stuff.  Help this little Geek trainee and tell me what the hell it means.
Oh yeah, and Maribeth is going to be a granny again in a day or two. Wish her luck!!! Congrats Maribeth and Annileese (sp) hope everything goes ok?

What the???

 So, I come home from work and decided to check out the new design and see what it looked like......One of the sidebar sections "Gotta have buttons" moved its own little butt to the top of the side bar.  Now how brazen is that crap???.  My whole computer is acting up today.  Not like its a virus or anything but just being moody.  Maybe its that time of the month......
Have you ever seen a Real Estate agent on "House Hunters" ever take the people to a house that has anything they want?  They ask for 2 bedrooms...they take them to see 3/4...If they want 5 bedrooms, all they see is 3/4.  Makes you want to smack these people.  At least the dope I bought my house from was so lazy,. I found the house and decided to buy it myself.  He promised me he'd put in a Peep hole for me for buying the house.  Hell, I haven't seen him since the closing. 
Talk about a week of remodeling.  I've found a new "Nail place" so I'm going there tomorrow, getting my hair cut Thursday night and Maxi groomed Sat am.  Everything all at once.  Poor Maxi needs it most.   

Couch Potato Views

Do you have a DVR? You know like Tivo?  I love it.  I watched "The Unusuals" last night and I think I'm going to like it a lot.  At least based on the two episodes that have been aired.  If you get a chance to see it, I recommend itl
Now.  "Harpers Island".  I was so hyped about that show.  I couldn't wait for it to come on.  Two episodes and I'm not sure I like it very much.  It's not so bad that I'm going to stop watching yet, but that might happen before much longer.
Do you hate CBS?  I do.  They've got one of the best line-ups on TV and most of them this week were re-runs. What an absolute shit.  AND.  they continually put GAR on Sunday's after sporting events so it rarely starts on time.  How annoying is that.  Of course I have the DVR but still, its the one show I look forward to on Sunday and I want it on time da**it.
How about "Lie to Me".  I find the male character to be a bit annoying but I love the show and I'm growing accustomed to him a bit.
Of course my always favorite is Criminal Minds.  As long as they keep that just the way it is they'll never lose me.  I can watch re-runs of that and be ok.
How about you?  What do you think of some of these shows? 
The next time I try to catch up on my DVR...You'll probably know!!! .

Its beautiful here today!!

I re-did the banner today. I hope you like it.  It's the dogwood tree outside of my office and its beautiful to see it every day. 
What am I doing now? Watching the Cubs lose....grrrrrr. 
I do have so much to do but Saturday's are lazy days for me.  I think I need them to get over the week at work which, at times, can be very stressful. 
I have also discovered that fried foods are out to kill me.  I don't eat them much any more but when I do........Sometimes I think I should talk to the Dr.  I may if I find one that's worth anything.  I seriously think the dude I'm seeing now wishes I'd go away.
Got new meds from the asthma doctor and the new medicine seems to be working wonderfully.  I am no long coughing up my ankles 5 times a day.  Maybe just once and my ankle are safe!!!

One day left

It's overcast and ucky today.  But I am NOT at work today either.  We won't discuss tomorrow ok?  I fell asleep on the couch last night and that's where I spend the entire night...until 11 am.today  Just in case Maxi needed to go out....I left the door open so he could go in and out as he needed.. 
Sorry any burglers roaming the neighborhood.  This was an easy mark if you wanted to. 
I did get some things done yesterday.  Planted some Pampas Grass...which I have always wanted.  If it actually comes up and is as pretty as I've seen it around..I will be so happy.  I have a few more little shrubs that I don't know what to do with them. 
I did mow the lawn yesterday.  Found a Chiminea sp? on sale and I like it much better than the firebowl that had turned into a  pile of rust. 
I even managed to get the little TV outside so I could watch the Masters while I was doing the yard stuff.  At one point though, I had to stop and watch Tiger and Phil.  Too bad they couldn't get into the lead.  I was pully for Kenny Perry.  Otherwise I really didn't care.  Sorry Masters.

Its Easter

I'm on vacation and all by myself.  Zoot and her hubby came by today.  They had come in to get some items from Pats house and take them back. You know, my ex and I didn't have a lot of contact but knowing he's not around is very difficult for me.  If I don't think about it too much I'm ok but every once in a while it creeps up and "bites" me and I just cry. 
I'm still tired but I've also slept a lot in the past few days and intend to sleep more the next two days.  Do I know how to vacate or what?
