Ok...my daughter..she's a wonderful Mom BUT...as her mom may I just say.I would rather she not do THIS.  I want her to have fun but as a mom, and that's my first self....I'd feel much better if she would sleep; in her own bed...You know, that pregnancy thing can really get in the way so to speak.............just saying
Oh yeah, and Lilz doesn't seem thrilled either ...He is an absolute saint sometimes don't ya think.

This weekend, is the benefit golf tournament in honor of my roommate who died 10 years ago. When we started this we said we'd do it 10 years and here it is.  I don't know how much I'll be able to post this weekend.  We've been raising 10 thousand dollars for the Shelter for the past few years.  We've never raised less than 5 thousand so it's a good thing.  Roomie would be so proudl   Yes, I still miss her very muchl

Let me introduce you to....

I sent this picture to a group at Flickr called ID Please.  I had no idea what kind of bird this is...In 24 hrs I had the answer.  It is a Brown Thrasher.  Seen mostly in the Atlanta area and is the state bird of Georgia.  I hope I get to see more of him/her/them before summer is up. Its a  pretty bird don't ya think?

Oh My

This is what I came home to yesterday.  Well, this and teeeny weeeny new refrigerator.  Yep,  this is what the landlord left me.  All kinds of stuff just sat there from noon on.  I had to mop the floors etc.  I guess I should be thankful for a new refrig but...............................the handles are on the wrong side.  Me and Maxi don't like that a single bit.

Just a few things.

• Since I've been sick since last Thursday, this is my first day back.  Ugh.  I'd like about 10 more days but I feel like that every Sunday night.

• Did  you watch Survivor?  I rooted for Cirie since those crazy woman blind sided all of the males.  Dumb a** men.  I'm not going to give it away yet.

• Cubs won Sunday, Saturday and Friday. That folks, is a good thing.

• I can not stand Kyle Bush..or his brother. Enough said about that!!
• I've been working on learning more about my camera, and more about Photoshop Elements. be prepared for photos of....my Mothers Day gift, birds and Maxi. 
• I'm starting to get ready to move.  No, I haven't been looking or anything but I've lived here 10 years. I've got a lot of stuff to just plain trash.  Maybe I'll take pics of the junk?
• I'm getting a new refrigerator today. I'll post a picture of it.  Unfortunately, its still just and apartment size but my food should be colder.  Thank god I haven't died yet. 
• I have no idea why, all of a sudden, this thing went to one line.

MOTHERS DAY

My Mothers Day gifts.  Along with these Zoot also sent me a bunch of recent photographs and the Daffodil in those bulbs.  Bloomed in one day...yesterday.  Thanks guys.  I love you both.

Its Mothers Day

I know two mothers who have totally and always made me happy.  My mother, who passed away in 1992.  She was such a total support to me, especially when I needed it.  I thought being a mother to 7 children and being married to my father....gets an award and also gets my continual love and admiration for her.  It has not faltered even a little bit in all of these years.  I miss her and think of her every day.  Happy Mothers Day Mom!!!

My next mother person who is in my life daily, is Zoot. Why of course you say, she's my daughter.  She's so much more to her family and  and to me than I can ever describe,  I love when she tell me what she has done with the children today. (any day) How she keeps them so busy and so happy..  I can tell you this, at 81/2 mos pregnant I wouldn't be making sure my children were entertained.  I remember how awful I felt.  My daughter has made a life for her, and her family that I wish I had done.  So I guess a little of my love and admiration might have a touch of envy in it.  Kind of like when you see someone who just plain gets it right..

I love you so much sweetie......That's why Mothers Day is so nice!!
